Trilogy commissioned an independent clinical study to test the effect of the topical application of Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil on wrinkles and skin moisturisation.
The study was conducted at an independent laboratory in Australia during 2007, in accordance with ICH Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice.

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil was shown to have a measurably positive effect on fine lines and wrinkles and on skin moisturisation at the 8 week time point with continuous twice daily use. Skin roughness was also significantly reduced.

Results of Self Evaluation Study
Methodology
- 20 female subjects between the ages of 35 and 65.
- 50% of subjects exhibited dry skin.
- 20% of subjects were self-nominated sensitive skin type.
- All subjects exhibited mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles in the eye contour area.
- Wrinkle depth and skin roughness was measured using skin profilometry at 3 times points during the 8 week study.
- Skin moisturisation was measured using Corneometer testing.
- Photographic records were kept of the test area at each time point throughout the study.
- Application was twice daily.
- Concurrent use of other skincare products was not permitted in the skin area under study.
- No adverse responses were observed during the study.
